I was SOOO happy to see sweet Shelby again. I first met this family back in the fall and was thrilled to take their family portraits down in Dallas. We got to meet up again to take Shelby’s one year portraits. I LOVE those eyes!!! She endured the cold and gave us some great smiles. What a happy baby!!!!

This was so much fun. Channing was not happy about not being able to touch the candle, but as soon as she got her first taste of the cake, she just went to town. I guess its the only time in your life you can step on a cake and have it smeared across your face and everyone thinks your adorable!

Gorgeous, precious, adorable… I cant get enough. She really is a doll Erika and Brian. It was a privilege to get to photograph her. I cant say enough about the Goering family. Erika ran to my aid 2 years ago so I could be by my Dad’s side everyday when we thought his day’s on earth were very short. You all are truly great friends. Thank you for everything you all have done for us. Little Selah is so sweet and beautiful. A true gift from the Lord. Much love and there is more to come!!

- Thank you Kelly for the sweet comment. I had this tune in my head, "Say My Name" and the name Selah Jane just seemed to fit perfectly with the tune. So I just started trying to think of words that fit Selah's story. Your work is incredible. It is hard to believe what you are able to do with a 10 day old baby. Erika and Brian are blessed to have you as a friend. I have been showing the pictures to several teachers in my building.
