I am shouting it because I seriously can not get over the cuteness of this kid. This photo was edited in under a minute. There is nothing to do here but brighten the colors a bit. He is just THAT CUTE!!! Those baby blues are TO. DIE. FOR. Leslie, I just had to get this one posted, but I am off to work on more!!! I loved getting to visit with you today.

What a difference a year makes… Savannah smiles

Its hard to believe she is sitting in her seat at Kindergarten. Why would I be sentimental? I have done this before!! But as soon as I was in the privacy of my own car, that lump came up in my throat and the tears started falling. I cannot get over how God has blessed us this summer. We have had such a great time traveling and just being together as a family. God was also working in our lives the last few months. Savannah is getting so big and I cant get over the picture from last year vs. this year. She looks like a teenager!!! Ok, maybe not quite a teenager, but compared to last year, its a huge difference…. I am pretty sure that she is wearing the same uniform in both pictures, but that uniform was swallowing her last year and now its looking like I need to go get the next size up. Savannah makes me smile, she makes my heart glad and she is just plain fun to be around. Oh, how I love that little girl.

Baby Henry {Frisco Texas Newborn Photographer}

What a sweet sweet baby boy Henry was. There is nothing like holding a 4 day old. Part of the reason I love this job (photographing newborns) is getting to hold these babies. Henry wanted to know what was going on. He was awake basically the whole session, not upset at all, but just wide eyed and looking around. He is a beautiful baby and I am so honored to have been able to photograph him. Here is a sneak peek….

Savannah’s Camp had a HUGE slip and slide… I wish we could have tried that thing! Rock climbing was great as always (loved Lexi Ann showing us her muscle’s before her climb). Savannah LOVED the zip line. She went up there – no problem being 100 feet in the air… walking across 2 bridges between platforms on the redwoods and then getting on that zip. It amazes me that she is so fearless. Even adults are scared on that thing!

Our drive on day two was intense, but breathtaking. We started the day at Hearst Castle which was beautiful, but not really the best idea with a one year old that wants to touch everything and walk everywhere. Stoller’s were not allowed so Dave and I took turns listening to the tour with the big girls and the other would go walk with Channing outside. We are glad though that we saw it. We stopped a few miles up the road and saw elephant seals. That was really neat to see. Then the rest of the drive was right on the cliffs and just breathtaking. We stopped in Moss Landing for dinner at Phil’s Fish Market. Phil had a throwdown with Bobby Flay with his famous Cioppino. We weren’t quite sure what we were eating, but it was delicious!

Malibu and Pismo {Frisco Texas Photographer}

We are having SOOO much fun in California. Its one of our favorite trips of the year. We got up at 5am and now its 12:30am Dallas time… oh well. We spent some time in Malibu today exploring the beaches and we ate at Paradise Cove. Hopefully the girls will adjust well to the time change. Tonight is Pismo Beach, half way between San Francisco and LA. We are pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We are staying right on the beach and have beautiful views!!! I gotta get this post up and get to bed!!!

And I thought my life was crazy…. meet amazing Mom of 4 boys ages 4, 3, 2, 1. She will shortly be going back to Germany where her husband is in the Air Force. It was great meeting you all and my pleasure to capture your beautiful boys at this age with you and with GG. More to come soon!
